I have been using these speakers for quite some time now and I have been using these speakers extensively as a primary speaker. Let’s talk about speaker now
1. The Speaker looks premium and well made. But the micro USB port and aux port is covered by flap which I find annoying because it tasks quite bit of effort to close the flap properly.
2. It has a 5 W speaker which is sufficiently loud and the sound doesn’t distort on even full volume, so thumbs up for that.
3. Speaker can be connected through AUX cable ( provided in box ) and also via Bluetooth. There are few things to note.
a) Speaker doesn’t turn on automatically if you insert the aux cable.
b) If you are connected to speaker( via Bluetooth) and speaker is sitting idle for more than 20 mins then it automatically shuts down.
Prisha –
This is a 5 watt bluetooth speaker that can be carried anywhere. It is water resistant and lightweight.
Build quality-
It hass a strong build quality with dust proof mesh on the top and rubberized plastic at the bottom.
Sound quality-
This 5W bluetooth speaker produces crystal clear high volume sound without any disturbance at the full volume. I like the bass and it has a pretty good bass.
Backup time-
I am running it continuously from 5 hours and it produces good battery backup.
Additional feature-
We can connect two speaker simultaneously and get the stereo effect.
Saanvi –
I have used Mivi, JBL Go, JBL Micro and currently a Skullcandy Barricade Mini. Here’s my review based on that.
Cons first
# If you keep the speaker idle for some time, less than half an hour, it turns off, really irritating
# You have to disconnect the connected device from device to pair a new phone. If i have a lot of devices used with Mivi, i have check which one is connected now and disconnect from it. Sick, if my friend’s phone is connected. I have to check with him again to disconnect. Basically, pairing mode = Speaker ON + No devices connected. In my JBL micro, i can force speaker to pairing mode easily.
# The switches are not placed comfortably, you have to search lot to find the buttons. Troublesome for night owls.
# The status led indicator is located in bottom
# The audio quality is good, but the bass levels are tad poor. You can’t feel the music if there is no bass. There is absolutely no punch while playing music. For movies it’s ok.
VIDHYA –
I have been using this speaker for a few days and this speaker I have found in this range .
It’s really good for partying anywhere and gives you great sound quality and is easy to travel with
Loudness –
The loudness of the speaker is very good the music is easily audible from one corner to another even in big rooms.
Bass –
The bass of the speaker is very good and clear basically satisfies you with deep bass.
Range –
The range of sound quality of the speaker is amazing , can be varied easily.
Battery backup –
The battery of the speaker is really good you can use it for 5-6 hours without any worries and gets charged fast and easy.
Portable –
The speaker is very easy to travel with so you can party anytime anywhere or just listen to your favourite song anywhere
Water and dust resistant –
You don’t need to worry about the splashes of water or dust while partying the water and dust has no effect on this , it’s resistance to both of them is really good allowing you to party freely.
Overall the product is best in this range, totally worth your money and is gonna satisfy your every need.
